TMK releases 2007 production data

The Russian pipe producer TMK Group has released its production results for 2007.
 
Accordingly, TMK's pipe shipments increased 1.9 percent year on year to 3.074 million metric tons. In particular, in 2007 TMK shipped 2.026 million metric tons of pipes (including 945,000 metric tons of OCTG) - up 4.2 percent and 1.05 million metric tons of welded pipes - down 2.4 percent, both compared to the 2006 data.

Commenting on the possible market development scenario in the upcoming years, TMK stated, "Despite some slowdown in growth in 2007-2008, we still expect growth to pick up by 2009."
