Russian pipe producer TMK has announced that its subsidiary Sinarsky Pipe Plant has launched production of a new type of boiler tube together with Krasny Kotelshchik Taganrog Boiler-Making Works, one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of power engineering equipment. The 31.75 mm cold-drawn tube with 6.10 mm walls, produced to ASME SA-210/SA-210M international standard, will be used in the manufacture of equipment for the Long Phu 1 thermal power project in Vietnam.

In the April-May period of the current year, Sinarsky Pipe Plant supplied the first batch of 250 mt of tubular products to Vietnam. Shipment of the second batch is scheduled for June this year.

TMK stated that the expansion of cooperation with Krasny Kotelshchik Works through the thermal power plant project in Vietnam will reinforce its position as a reliable supplier of cold-drawn boiler tube.
