Timken is recommended for ISO/TS 16949 certification

According to the statement released by Timken Company, the automotive group of the company has recently been recommended for ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification, which is an internationally accredited standard for automotive materials suppliers. The registrars, completing audits in June 2004, recommended Timken's automotive bearings to be granted with ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification. Timken officials stated that the certification will ensure that the customers will continue to buy high quality products from Timken.
