Tianjin Steel issues latest ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 6, northern Chinese mill Tianjin Steel hiked its ex-factory prices of medium plate by RMB 130/mt ($17). The details are as follows: Following the latest adjustment, the ex-factory price of 6 mm Q235B common carbon medium plate is at RMB 4,130/mt ($529); that of 8 mm is RMB 4,010/mt ($513); 10 mm costs RMB 3,850/mt ($493); 12 mm costs RMB 3,720/mt ($476); 14 mm is at RMB 3,650/mt ($467); 16-20 mm is RMB 3,630/mt ($465); 22 mm costs RMB 3,650/mt ($467). In addition, the prices of Q345B(A) low-alloy plate of the above specifications increased RMB 150/mt ($19). All the above prices include taxes and are in effect as of January 6, 2007.
