Tianjin Pipe approved as supplier by Norway’s Statoil

Chinese steel pipe producer Tianjin Pipe Co. has announced that it has been approved as a supplier of premium thread connections for oil well pipes by Norwegian state-controlled energy company Statoil. The approval follows an inspection carried out by Statoil officials.
 
As SteelOrbis previously reported, Tianjin Pipe Co. was also recently approved as a supplier for South African Coal and Oil Co. (SASOL), a South African company involved in mining, energy, chemicals and synthetic fuels.
