Ternium Argentina sees profit rise in Q3

Ternium Argentina, formerly known as Ternium Siderar, said net profit in Q3 this year reached ARS 3.03 billion, up from a net profit of ARS 1.60 billion reported in the same quarter of the year prior.

Net revenues in Q3 rose 62 percent, year-on-year, to ARS 17.1 billion. Steel sales volumes in Q3 was 587,600 mt, down from 655,500 mt in Q3 2017.

Ternium Argentina said out of the 587,600 mt of steel sold in Q3, 514,800 mt was destined to the domestic market, while the remaining 72,800 mt went to the export market.
