Ternium Argentina sees net profit rise 51.9 percent in 2018

Argentinian steelmaker Ternium Argentina, formerly known as Ternium Siderar, saw its net profit in the full year of 2018 increase 51.9 percent, year-on-year, to ARS 13.2 billion ($331 million), the company said while releasing its full-year results.

The company said net revenues in the full year of 2018 totaled ARS 73.8 billion ($1.85 billion), up from ARS 62.1 billion ($1.56 billion) in 2017. Cost of products sold in the full year of 2018 reached ARS 56.1 billion ($1.41 billion), 6.8 percent up, year-on-year.

Ternium Argentina reported a gross profit of ARS 17.6 billion ($442 million), 84.7 percent up, year-on-year.
