Luxembourg-based steel tube producer Tenaris has announced that it will supply 46,000 mt of 16” seamless pipes to fuel products distributor Turkish Petroleum for phase II-A of its Sakarya gas field development.
The gas field is located approximately 175 km offshore from Ereğli, Turkey.
The production of the pipes will start in Tenaris’s Dalmine plant in Italy in September, with the full delivery expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
