German plantmaker SMS Group has announced that it will supply cold pilger mill to Spain-based seamless stainless steel pipe producer Tubacex. The cold pilger mill will be installed at Tubacex’ new pipe finishing and threading plant to be built in the United Arab Emirates.
The cold pilger mill, which is designed for a wide range production portfolio of stainless steel tubes, is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2024 and will enable Tubacex to serve its growing customer demands from the oil and gas industry.
