Six Russian companies produce 86 percent of Russian crude steel output in 2010

In 2010, six of the largest Russian steel producing companies have increased their total crude steel production in Russia by nine percent year on year to 57 million mt, which represents 86 percent of Russian overall crude steel output.
 
Considering foreign assets, the leader among Russian companies in steel production for 2010 was Severstal, with Evraz being a leader in rolled steel products output. With three of its plants, Evraz produced the largest volume of crude steel and rolled steel products in Russia in 2010.
