Shuicheng Steel sees average daily crude steel output of 13,698 mt in Oct

According to Guizhou Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shuicheng Iron and Steel Co. (Shuicheng Steel), a subsidiary of Shougang Group, in October this year it recorded an average daily crude steel production of 13,698 mt, which is equivalent to an output of 5 million mt for a 12-month period.

In 2011, Shuicheng Steel has built its sintering machines No. 6 and No. 7, blast furnace No. 4, converter No. 3, a bar production line and a high speed wire rod production line. Once all the production lines operate at full capacity, Shuicheng Steel will bring in an annual sales income of RMB 20 billion ($3.17 billion).
