Chinese crude steel output rises by 9.7 percent in October

As announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics, in October this year Chinese crude steel production reached 54.67 million mt, up 9.7 percent year on year. Meanwhile, China's finished steel output in October reached 73.07 million mt, marking an increase of 13.4 percent compared to the same period of last year.
 
In October, Chinese iron ore output was 132.41 million mt, rising by 41.4 percent year on year.
