Baogang maintains high production levels in October

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) has announced that it produced 903,800 mt of pig iron, up 6.63 percent year on year, 884,700 mt of crude steel, exceeding 2.66 percent of its monthly planned volume and average daily pig iron output reached over 27,200 mt in October.

Accordingly, Baogang posted year on year increase in pig iron, crude steel and finished steel output levels in the first nine months of the current year. In the given time, finished steel sales volume reached 4.1053 million mt, accounting for 63 percent in steel sales and up 813,500 mt year on year.
