China’s daily crude steel output hits lowest level of current year in July

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, China's crude steel production amounted to 59.3 million mt in July this year, increasing by 15.5 percent year on year. However, in July the country's average daily crude steel production reached its lowest of the current year, declining to 1.9129 million mt.

In the January-July period, China's crude steel production totaled 410.364 million mt, increasing by 10.3 percent year on year.
 
Meanwhile, China's pig iron production in July was 55.062 million mt, up 17.3 percent year on year. In the January-July period, its pig iron production totaled 379.327 million mt, indicating a rise of 9.6 percent year on year.
