Shougang inks strategic agreement with Shandong Guanzhou

Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Iron and Steel Co. (Shougang) has inked a strategic agreement with Shandong Province-based Chinese company Shandong Guanzhou Co. (Shandong Guanzhou) for supply of finished steel to Shandong Guanzhou. 

Shandong Guanzhou is engaged in the production of composite new materials including cold rolled sheet, galvanized sheet, color coated sheet, aluminum-zinc silicon sheet, continuous annealing sheet, self-propagating ceramic composite steel pipe, high performance rare earth Na-Fe-B permanent magnetic products and environment protective equipment. 

Shougang initially commenced supplying to Shandong Guanzhou in September 2010. It is expected that its supply volume of finished steel to Shandong Guanzhou will increase to 600,000 mt in 2015.
