Shaogang’s plate products approved by Germanischer Lloyd

Germanischer Lloyd Industrial Services, a division of Hamburg-headquartered German classification society Germanischer Lloyd (GL), has carried out a review for the certification of steel plate produced by Guangdong Province-based Chinese steel producer Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co. (Shaogang), a subsidiary of Shanghai-based steel giant Baosteel, as reported by Baosteel.
 
All steel plate products were approved for certification. The review covered twenty steel plate products in thicknesses up to 60 mm. Previously, 11 steel plate products in thickness up to 40 mm had been certified.
