Severstal Invest, the steel trading network of Severstal Russian Steel, plans in April 2010 to open a new trade center in the Russian city of Perm, in order to increase the share of its regional center Povolzhye-North in the market of the Volga federal district.

Accordingly, the key products for sale in the target region include hot and cold rolled products, polymer and zinc-coated rolled products, rebar, pipes and bent-steel sections, mainly produced by Severstal Cherepovets. The major consumers of these products in the region are the machine building and construction industries.
