Severstal may redirect its steel supplies to Middle East and Asia

Alexey Kulichenko, Russian steelmaker Severstal’s CFO, has stated that Severstal may redirect its steel products which were previously delivered to the US to the Middle East and Asia, according to Reuters.

The company had ceased steel supplies to the US before the imposition of the 25 percent Section 232 import tariff on steel products, according to Mr. Kulichenko.
