Seven consortiums to bid for Hanbo

According to latest statement released by Hanbo Steel, seven consortiums will bid for the company in the second round of bids. On the condition that successful offer is found in the second round of bids, it is stated that, turn over of Hanbo may be completed by August. POSCO-Dongkuk Steel Mill (DSM), INI Steel-Hyundai Hysco and Japanese Yamato Steel Co-Newcore, US investment fund are among the subject consortiums. Hanbo Steel officials stated that, they will evaluate the bids and present the selected bid to the court in June.
