Steel Authority of India Limited’s (SAIL) Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) recorded its highest single day production of 8,880 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) from its Hot Strip Mill-2, on August 23, a company statement said on Monday, August 28.
The company said that the previous highest single day output of 8,797 mt of HRC from the hot strip mill was recorded on July 12, 2023.
The hot strip mill 2 has a capacity of 3 million mt per year.
