Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has announced that it has launched a new premium rolled steel with antibacterial coating. The company’s partners have trialled the first batches of the new product.
According to the company’s statement, the antibacterial coating protects the metal against harmful microorganisms and used for interior surfaces of objects mainly in food industry and healthcare.
