Russian semi-finished steel exports down 11.5 percent in Jan-Nov

In the January-November period of the current year, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 11.5 percent year on year to 12 million mt, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In November alone, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products increased by 6.6 percent compared to October, to 1.23 million mt.
 
As previously reported, in January-October this year Russia had exported 10.77 million mt of semi-finished steel products, down 13.7 percent compared to the same period of 2012.
