Russian pipe producers’ deliveries to Transneft to exceed 1 million mt in 2010

In 2010, the deliveries of pipes from Russian pipemaking companies to the country's state-owned oil pipeline monopoly Transneft are expected to amount to 1.04 million mt, compared to 130,000 mt delivered in 2009.

In the first 11 months of the current year, Russian pipe producers' deliveries to Transneft amounted to 906,000 mt of pipes, used in the construction of major oil pipeline projects such as Baltic Pipeline System (BPS-2), East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO-2) and Purpe-Samotlor.
