Russia issues January-September production results

In the first nine months of the current year, Russia registered a two percent rise in its crude steel output to 52.8 million mt and a 3.4 percent increase in its rolled steel output to 45.7 million mt, both year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In the given period, Russia saw a 7.7 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe production to 8.2 million mt.

In September alone, in Russia crude steel production was unchanged, rolled steel output rose by 5.3 percent, while steel pipe production increased by 23.7 percent, all year on year.
