Roy Hill iron ore project to make its first shipment this week

Australia-based Roy Hill Holdings has announced that the Roy Hill iron ore mine project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia completed loading its first shipment of fines and lump ore on December 7, more than a month ahead of expectations. The vessel in question, MV Anangel Explorer, will leave later this week amid a ceremony that will be held by Roy Hill together with its partners, Marubeni, POSCO and China Steel. 

The Roy Hill project has an annual capacity of 55 million mt of prime quality iron ore for export.
