Rebar costs increase in greater Buenos Aires area in April

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area in April rose 4.4 percent, month-on-month, according to data released by local statistics agency Indec.

Government data said rebar was among the products whose cost increased the most in April within the general expenses category, on a month-on-month analysis.

Indec said the cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aireas area in April increased 0.8 percent, month-on-month. Cost of materials in the greater Buenos Aires area in April grew 2.2 percent, month-on-month, while cost of workforce in the same period fell 0.1 percent, month-on-month. General expenses costs in April improved 0.5 percent, also on a month-on-month basis.
