Rebar costs in Buenos Aires area up in January

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area in January rose 4.6 percent, month-on-month, according to data released by the country’s statistics agency, Indec.

Rebar was among the products whose cost increased the most in January, on a month-on-month basis. The overall cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aires area in January improved 1 percent, month-on-month, while the cost of materials in January grew 2.4 percent, month-on-month.

General expenses increased 1.8 percent in January, also on a month-on-month basis. Indec had no data for workforce costs in January.
