Primetals Technologies to supply combined galvanizing and color coating line for Tyasa

UK-based plantmaker Primetals Technologies has announced that it will supply a new combined galvanizing and color coating line (CG-CCL) for Mexican steel producer Tyasa’s steel making plant in Orizaba in the Mexican state of Veracruz.

According to Primetals, the new CG-CCL is part of a processing plant currently under erection and commissioning and the aim of the line is to extend Tyasa’s portfolio to include flat products. The production of the first galvanized coil is planned for December 2018 and the first painted coil for March 2019.
