Panzhihua Steel produces UIC 54 kg/m steel rail of highest standard

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Panzhihua Steel recently produced 4,000 mt of UIC 54 kg/m steel rail in accordance with the highest standards of the International Union of Railways (UIC). All the performance indicators of the batch of steel rail in question were found to be above UIC standards.

Since 1982 Panzhihua Steel has produced steel rails of different specifications, including UIC 60 kg/m, according to UIC standards.
