Output value of China’s household appliance industry up 9.7 percent in H1

In the first half of this year, the total output value of the household appliance industry in China increased by 9.7 percent year on year, according to figures released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
 
In the January-June period of this year, overall outputs of key products in the given industry, namely, refrigerators, air conditioners and washing machines, were 41,452,000 units, 80,387,000 units and 30,571,000 units, down 7.4 percent, 1.5 percent and one percent respectively, all year on year.
