OMK’s Vyksa sees 32 percent rise in January-November pipe output

The Russian steel and pipe producer United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in January-November this year its Novgorod-based pipe producer Vyksa Steel Works (Vyksa) saw a 32.1 percent year-on-year growth in its steel pipe production to 1.8 million mt, of which 1.18 million mt were large diameter (LD) steel pipes - up 36.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, in November this year, Vyksa increased its steel pipe output by 74 percent year on year from 104,000 mt to 180,900 mt, with its large diameter steel pipe production amounting to 127,000 mt - up 123 percent compared to November 2009.
