OMK’s ATZ sees record shipment volume of pipes in Jan-July

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in the first seven months of this year its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) increased its steel pipe output by 22.7 percent year on year to 98,088 mt and raised its deliveries by 19.7 percent year on year to 100,160 mt of steel pipes, which is a record shipment volume reached by ATZ as part of OMK.

In July this year, ATZ produced 15,372 mt of steel pipes - up eight percent, while its shipments amounted to 16,709 mt of steel pipes - up 11 percent, both compared to June.
