OMK to raise strip production
United Metallurgical Company of Russia (OMK) intends to install a new mill 5000 for production of strips for pipes of large diameters with the total annual capacity of 1.2 million tons. The installation of the new mill would allow OMK to stop purchases of strips from Severstal, the company's main supplier of strips.
