OMK increases net profit in 2005

Russian steel company OMK disclosed that the company's net profit rose 45 percent year on year to $353 million in 2005. According to the reports, the company's earnings totaled more than $2 billion in the aforementioned period. The OMK group of enterprises produced 1.1 million metric tons steel pipe in 2005, an increase of 15 percent from a year earlier.
