North American rig counts, week ending November 24

According to the most recent report by Baker Hughes, the weekly US rotary rig count is up 10 from last week to 1687. This reflects a year-on-year increase of 550 rigs.

The Canadian rig count is down 3 from last week and is now at 415, representing a 98-rig year-over-year increase.

The US Offshore rig count is 20, unchanged from last week, and down 15 year-over-year.

It should be noted that the current week is two days shorter than normal due to the US Thanksgiving holiday.
