Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has announced that in the January-June period of this year it shipped 5.64 million mt of steel products, up 30.6 percent year on year. In June alone, NLMK shipped 973,400 mt of steel products, down 0.7 percent month on month.
1.54 million mt of the shipped products were consumed in the domestic market, up 14.7 percent year on year, while 4.11 million mt were shipped for export, up 37.8 percent year on year.
