NLMK product quality complies with international standards

The Russian steel producer Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has announced that it has passed a series of audits conducted by the German independent certifying agency TÜV CERT.

During the audit procedure, TÜV CERT experts examined the NLMK's overall quality management system, confirming its compliance with international standard ISO 9001:2008. They also confirmed the compliance of NLMK's quality management system in hot rolling production with the European Council Directive 97/23/EG and Technical Regulations AD 2000 W. In addition, experts confirmed that NLMK's production complies with Directive 89/106/EEC and NLMK received the right to use the CE mark on steel produced for the construction industry.
