Nanjing Steel hikes ex-factory prices again

SteelOrbis Shanghai On February 3, Jiangsu Province-based Nanjing Steel announced ex-factory price increases for some products. The details are as follows: 1. The medium plate price has gone up RMB 50/mt ($6.4). As a result, the price of 8 mm Q195-275 is RMB 4,560/mt ($588), 14-22 mm Q195-275 now costs RMB 4,110/mt ($530), 8 mm Q345 costs RMB 4,760/mt ($613), while the price of 14-22 mm Q345 has risen to RMB 4,310/mt ($555). 2. The price of boiler plate and container plate has been hiked RMB 50/mt ($6.4), with the price of 20g 14-20 mm now at RMB 4,660/mt ($600). As a result, the price of 16MnR 12-20 mm has increased to RMB 4,710/mt ($607). All the above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of February 3.
