MOC: Average steel prices in China decrease during Oct 9-15

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the October 9-15 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China indicated a decreasing trend.

In the given period, the average prices of common steel plate, rebar and hot rolled steel strip moved down by 1.1 percent, 0.9 percent and 0.8 percent week on week, respectively.           

In the same period, the average prices of thermal coal, coking coal, and smoke-free lump coal rose by 0.7 percent, 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent week on week, respectively.
