Mobarakeh Steel sees 17 percent increase in HRC output

Iranian state-owned flat steel producer Mobarakeh Steel recorded outputs of 1,751,363 mt of crude steel and 1,773,018 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) in the first five months of the current Iranian year (started March 21 ), down 15 percent and up 17 percent year on year respectively - according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

Meanwhile, Saba Compact Strip Processing Plant, an affiliate of Mobarakeh, produced 280,000 mt of crude steel and 279,340 mt of HRC in the given period, representing increases of 37 percent and 42 percent year on year respectively, also according to IMIDRO.
