In the given year, the company produced 11 million mt of crude steel, up by 26 percent year on year, while its output of HRC, construction steel, high-quality steel and steel billets reached 10.6 million mt, up by 31 percent year on year. Of this, HRC accounted for five million mt, increasing by 73 percent compared to 2024. The sharp increase in HRC output was partly driven by the completion of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 integrated steel complex, which began delivering products from September 2025.
The company is accelerating the construction of a rail steel and special steel plant in Dung Quat. The facility is expected to begin producing rail steel in 2027, supplying major national railway projects and exporting to international markets.
