Minera Autlán reported this week earnings guidance for the first quarter of 2014, which indicated that the company expects a  32 percent increase in operating cash flow, mainly driven by its energy division.

The energy division has presented great results for Minera Autlán’s finances, and the company estimates that their EBITDA increased during the first quarter of 2014 just over 109 percent compared to the same period last year.

In a statement sent to the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), the company said it expects net sales up 32 percent, reflecting an increase of 44 percent in its sales volumes of manganese and optimal results of its hydroelectric project.

With respect to operating profit, an increase of 386 percent is estimated compared with the same period last year, additionally benefited by selling more volume and flow generation in the energy division.
