Mexico’s economy secretariat, SE, said a new probe method for the mechanical testing of steel products will take place in 60 days. The NMX-B-172-CANACERO-2018 regulation will replace the former NMX-B-172-CANACERO-2013 norm.

The NMX-B-172-CANACERO-2018 regulation sets the proceedings, definitions and methods for mechanical testing of iron and steel products.

It will take place 60 days, after November 1, when the notice was published at the local official gazette.
