Mexico’s economic activity in December rose 2.7 percent, year-on-year, the country’s statistics agency, Inegi, said this week. In a month-on-month analysis, economic activity in December slightly improved 0.4 percent.
Inegi said primary and tertiary activities in December grew 4.5 and 3.9 percent year-on-year, respectively, while secondary activities declined 0.1 percent in the same period.
Month-to-month, tertiary activities increased by 0.6 percent, while primary and secondary activities dropped 0.2 and 0.1 percent, respectively, in the same period.
