Mexico imposes provisional AD duty on Chinese plate imports

The Mexican Ministry of Economy has announced that it has decided to impose a provisional antidumping (AD) duty on Chinese steel plate imports. The provisional antidumping duty rate stands at 33.98 percent.
 
As SteelOrbis previously reported, the antidumping duty investigation in question was launched in July 2013, upon the application made by Mexican steelmaker Altos Hornos de México (AHMSA).
 
The product subject to the provisional antidumping duty falls under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7208.51.01, 7208.51.02, 7208.51.03, 7208.52.01, 7225.40.01 and 7225.40.02.
