Metinvest’s KhPW sees 64.2 percent drop in LD pipe output in June over May

According to the data issued by the Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding (Metinvest), in June this year its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW) saw its large diameter (LD) pipe output decrease to 8,587 mt from 23,976 mt in May, registering a 64.2 percent drop month on month.
 
In the first half of this year, KhPW produced 103,970 mt of LD pipes - down 65.7 percent compared to the same period last year when the plant produced 302,682 mt of LD pipes.
