Baltimore, Maryland-based Marlin Steel Wire announced Tuesday plans to expand its manufacturing space by 75 percent.

In a press release, Drew Greenblatt, President of Marlin Steel Wire Products commented that, "In the first quarter we exported more than 25 percent of our products. Our global clients are generating strong demand, and we need the floor space to maintain our delivery dates. In the last three weeks, we have shipped to Japan, Germany, France, Sweden, Uruguay and Canada. Plus, we are clogging the aisles with product and need some breathing room."
