Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has announced that in the first half this year it produced 21.4 million mt of coal, down 1.9 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the given period, the company significantly improved coal shipments compared to 2013 when a sharp demand fall in the domestic market led to the accumulation of products at warehouses. Thus, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in the first half this year amounted to about 21 million mt, up 3.7 percent, including about 2.1 million mt of coking coal, while its exports of coal amounted to about 15.9 million mt, up almost four times, all compared to the first half last year.

In 2014, the company plans to increase its exports from 25.8 million mt in 2013 to 29 million mt.
