Kingland Group to build steel pipe JV with Shagang Group

Zhejiang Province-based Chinese pipe producer Kingland Group and the largest private sector Chinese steelmaker Jiangsu Province-based Shagang Group have inked an agreement for the establishment of a joint venture, according to local newspaper Zhejiang Daily.
 
The joint venture aims to produce large-caliber straight-seam double-sided submerged-arc welding steel pipe with an annual output capacity of 120,000 mt. The products will mainly be used in pipelines for the transmission of oil, gas and water.
