Jiangyin UnionSteel announces September prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Jiangsu province based steelmaker Jiangyin UnionSteel released the September ex-factory price of galvanized coil, Al-Zn coated coil and color coated coil on August 25, 2006. The price of galvanized coil decreased RMB 300/mt ($38), that of Al-Zn coated coil decreased RMB 200-400/mt ($25-50), and that of color coated coil decreased RMB 400/mt ($50). After the adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick galvanized coils is RMB 6,700/mt ($842), and that of 1.0 mm thick galvanized coils is RMB 6,100/mt ($766). The price of 0.5 mm thick Al-Zn coated coil dropped to RMB 7,100/mt ($892), and that of 1.0 mm thick Al-Zn coated coil to RMB 6,750/mt ($848). Finally, the price of 0.426 mm thick color coated coils went down to RMB 7,350/mt ($923), and that of 0.476 mm thick color coated coils to RMB 7,200/mt ($905). 17 percent VAT is included in all prices.
